Hello Renata,
I’m very glad that you chose Mearto for your online appraisal,
Considering the photographs, overall pattern, tachnique and the colours, I concluded that this is an Entirely Hand Blown Murano Sculpture made with Calcedonia Technique. The piece dates back to the period between 2000-2008. The Calcedonia is a technique invented in the mid 15th century Venice, Murano. This technique includes alluring striations, achieved by adding silver nitrate and then the artist obtain wonderfully unpredictable works of unparalleled beauty. The colours are fascinating. The technique was forgotten through the 17th 18th and for a part of 19th century. In the mid 19th century, by Lorenzo Radi in 1856 was rediscovered in Murano but the technique was lost again soon after. Almost a hundred years after, it was rediscovered by Rosin Art Studio in 1977 by master Loredano Rosin, working with his brother Dino. Till then the distiguished technique was used and applied to pieces by many masters of hand blown glass. This piece is very similar to the pieces of the glass artist Andrea Tagliapietra. He has an exquisite taste and style in Calcedonia hand blown glass. The signature does not appear to be similar to most of his pieces but the style is quite similar. Dino Rosin's works are also quite similar in style as well. The piece is very prestigious, quite decorative. Piece is monumentally large, 70 centimeters of height is usually assigned to masterpieces of the artists in many cases. The piece is depicting two human figures in a dancing position we might say. The lower figure likely resemble a woman with it's curvy shape while the depiction above likely resembles a man figure. The piece has a also glass base. The piece is in perfect condition without any problems.
