These are 2 porcelain figurines i got from my mother. I,be known them since i was a kid, i am 60 today — they are about 16 centimeter tall; they depict children playing instruments. I believe they are 18th century, but they could be 19th. One of the characters had his head chopped and glued back on.

Dear Philippe,
Thank you for your request. The presented objects are two biscuit porcelain figurines with the measurements of 16 cm each. They depict two boys playing an instrument and are additionally decorated with a brass base. Under the bottom, we see the hallmark of the company Karl Ens in Volkstedt Germany. This hallmark was used between 1900 and around 1919. Sadly the figurines are damaged and not in original condition.
An estimate would be between 30 to 60 USD for both figurines.
This estimation is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparables. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and vary.
With best regards,
Georg
