A French Napoleon II style three-piece ormolu mounted and seaweed marquetry inlaid parlor suite
possibly 19th Century
Comprising a loveseat and two bergeres (closed armchairs)
All with rounded seaweed-marquetry inlaid backs, arms terminating in winged gryphons and with paw-form front feet. All with striped silk upholstery. Apparently unmarked.
Chairs: 34 inches tall, 27 inches wide, 26 inches deep
Loveseat: 34 inches tall, 51 inches wide, 28 inches deep
CONDITION: these appear to be in good condition;
PROVENANCE: inherited
