The rug measures 64" x 31". It is in very good shape with no signs of wear, rips or snags. At the ends there is some thread coming through but can easily be pushed back into place. It may just be how they made the rug. I purchased the rug as part of a lot at an auction. The auctioneer stated that it was an authentic vintage Navajo rug. Beyond that, I don't have additional information. I have other rugs to have appraised as well. The colors are brown, tan, beige and chocolate brown. It is made of thick wool.

Thank you for submitting your item for appraisal. This appears to be a vintage, last quarter 20th century Navajo rug, made for the trade. The rug shows a dark brown and a light brown border followed by a beige-white field, decorated with an oblong central ornament in black and light brown. Such rugs are a common sight at auctions, currently selling in the price range listed above. Without any provenance it will be difficult to give a higher estimate.
Yes, just leave it listed. People do sell on this site. Good luck!
Oh is it for sale on the site already? I would like to post nicer photos.
Hello! Thank you! I have sent a message to the auction house to see if they can provide further details about where the rug came from. Can I list this item for sale on your site? Thank you!
