You appear to have a hand-knotted silk/silk-wool blend Persian rug. The rug is centered with a diamond medallion and has very vibrant, colorful blooming and scrolling flowers on a black ground. The condition and vibrancy of the rug, leads me to believe it is not particularly old and was likely produced in the second-half of the 20th century. Nevertheless, it is quite beautiful and would be desirable at auction.

My estimate is based on recent comparable items sold at auction.
