What does this mean?

Thank you for submitting your item for appraisal. This appears to be a north nigerian dagger with tooled embossed leather scabbard or sheath, apparently in very good condition. The copper dagger in your possession was made using traditional methods and material, but is most likely not older than the 1930s. Without proof of provenance it is impossible to give an exact date. The estimate is based on similar items actually sold at auction. As always "asking prices" in the specialized trade can be higher and vary.
