Dear Jon,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
The presented object appears to be a painting made in oil or acrylic paint on canvas with the measurements of 17 x 41 inches. The painting depicts a landscape with Chinese architecture and was made in the last third of the 20th century. Based on the style and the quality of the depiction this artwork was made for decorative purposes.
This piece is in good condition and there are no serious damages visible.
An estimation would be between 30 to 60 USD.
This estimation is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparables. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and vary.
With kind regards,
Georg
Please let me know..thank you
Dear Jon,
Thank you for your email. The two Chinese letters are not a signature. They can be translated with "Autumn" and "top" or "height". This is the title of the motif. Such decoration objects are mainly made in China for the European and American markets.
With kind regards,
Georg
