If there is not a title or notation on the backside the location is fairly non-descript. It could be from the Mid-Atlantic coast up to the New England areas. It is signed M. Grant; checking against all known listed artists with the last name Grant and first initial M. there is not a signature or style match. This is done in the style most frequently seen at starving artist, hotel shows and sold through furniture stores in that era.
