My dad purchased this set when he was stationed in Okinawa around 1950 -53. Also has 12 & 16” platters, sugar bowl and creamer, gravy boat, oval serving dish and covered serving dish with chip on base

Vintage and antique (100+ years old) Noritake are currently bringing about $1-2 PER PIECE at auction, for the simple reason is that there are lots of these sets out there with not as many people buying them, so supply outweighs demand.
Also, I couldn't tell if the set includes two platters, each 12x16, or one platter 12inches in diameter and another 16inches in diameter. I've said this includes the latter so if it's the former please let me know as it would change the piece count from 77 to 76 (it would't affect the value, which has been adjusted slightly to conform to conventional auction houses valuations).
