Good afternoon, David,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry. So that I may best assist you, can you please confirm if this is a total of 8 pieces or place settings for 8? In either case, I need to know how many of each piece: dinner plates, salad plates, dessert plates, soup plates, fruit bowls, bread & butter plates, as well as how many serving dishes: platters, tureens, serving bowls, cream pitcher, sugar bowls, gravy or sauce boats, etc?
Thanks!
Delia
HI David,
Thanks for confirming the piece count for this service for me.
The values Mearto provides are FAIR-MARKET, or values assigned if items were being auctioned. These differ greatly from RETAIL or INSURANCE values, which are often quite a bit higher. Unfortunately, large sets of Noritake – even those in like-new condition – rarely bring more than $2-3/piece.
