Hi Clare,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
What a lovely, elegant service. I'm pretty sure this is more likely to be porcelain than bone china. If you know otherwise, please let me know as the value of this service would be less if it were bone china.
Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:
A vintage Noritake parcel gilt hand-painted porcelain dessert service
made in Japan, bearing the Noritake "Komaru" mark, in use from 1908, comprising:
6 coffee cups and 6 saucers,
1 covered sugar bowl
1 cream jug pitcher, and
1 covered coffee pot
with a foliate pattern on a cream ground with black and silver accents
CONDITION: appears to be in excellent condition; value assumes no chips, breaks, losses or repairs
$400-600*
*represents a fair-market value for auction purposes; retail or asking price may vary.
Please let us know if you have additional items to appraise, and thank you again for using Mearto.
Hi Clare,
If the status of this is "for sale" and "public," then it is already on our marketplace and people can reach out to you directly. If you can't tell what the status is (or can't figure out how to change it), let me know and I'll ask our IT / Customer Service dept to do it for you.
Thank you for your appraisal, Delia. I would like to list this porcelain coffee service for sale with Mearto. How do I do this please?
kind regards
Clare.
