Hi Aleta,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
There should be some writing on the back of the spoon's hande. So that I may best assist you, can you please take a photograph of it and add it to this appraisal inquiry?
Thanks very much!
Delia
Let me know if you need more photos as long as it won't cost any additional..
Thanks Aleta, for the additional information and photos; I've got all I need (additional photos for any individual appraisal inquiry are never an additional cost). If you had the tea pot, cream pitcher and sugar bowl, it would be more desirable; as it is, most Noritake sets average $1-2 PER PIECE so the fact that this is in mint/new condition in its original factory packaging adds to its value.
A vintage 18-piece Noritake parcel gilt bone china tea set, late 20th Century
Bears "NIppon toki" N mark, comprising: six cups, six saucers and six silverplated tea spoons
CONDITION: new, in original factory packaging
$70-100*
*represents a fair-market value for auction purposes; retail or asking price may vary.
Thank you!
The writing on the spoon was in the photo "Noritake 18-8" So shiney my phone kept being reflected in pic so I had to angle it. Maybe that's why it's not clear, sorry about that. Also this a six piece set in original box, wrapped and never used. Appreciate you helping on figuring this out.
