This typical late summer scene can be found in the artist´s oeuvre quite often. This is not surprising, a hundred years ago bringing in the harvest was the most important and most fulfilling task of the year.The estimate is based on similar watercolours sold at auction. "Asking prices" in the trade can be higher and vary. There is no measurement for the sentimental value you might attach to it.
