Oak Library Table
32" H 35" W 48" D Oak Library Table purchased at auction in MInnesota in the 1960's. Has a metal number plate with a number on it. Made mostly with interlocking wood pieces and wooden dowels. Modern reinforcements have been made to the underneath area where the legs meet the top. It's in good, not perfect condition. Solid piece though. Normal wear and tear with a small area of damage to the table top where it is bubbling up.
My mother bought this at an informal auction in Minnesota where they were selling all the Library furniture

The metal tag with the number "179" is unlikely to have been related to its manufacture; more likely had to do with the library it was in the collection of.

The rectangular molded edged top over a corresponding frame raised on straight square legs joined by a shaped H-stretcher.

CONDITION: wear appears to be commensurate with use, some later reinforcing.
