7 inches high and the octagonal rim is 4 inches
We bought a set of water and wine glasses from the Murano factory in Italy in 1952
Dear Phyllis,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry. So that I may best assist you, can you please share the number of all glasses?
With kind regards,
Georg

Dear Phyllis,
Thank you for the additional information and your patience. I am very sorry for my late reaction, but regarding a technical issue, your messages were not displayed. The apprised object is a set of 8 wine glasses and 9 water glasses. The wine glasses have an octagonal shape and the and the stems and edges are additionally decorated. There is no gravure or label to exactly identify the maker of this set. The quality and octagonal shape and especially the attached drop decor are a hint for a high-quality glass manufacturer like we find in Murano Italy.
This piece is in good condition and there are no serious damages visible.
An estimation would be between 170 to 340 USD.
This estimation is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparables. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and vary.
With best regards,
Georg
thank you, Georg. I had thought somehow you hadn't gotten my response.

Georg
