4 Prints sold in set, ordered from weekly journal magazine in late 1970's or early 1980's not sure. framed in San Antonio, size: 12 3/4" X 17" gold colored aluminum frames
I HAVE BEEN THE ONLY OWNER
These are a set of 4 framed vintage later 20th century printed image reproductions of Chinese paintings that were originally done on thin-shaved cork. These print images of cork paintings were published in the US by Aaron Brothers. The estimate is for all 4 prints together and is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparables. Retail 'asking prices' can be higher and vary.
I added 8 more pictures, give me the specialist e-mail address and I will e-mail them directly to them.
Are the pictures under a matte or is the entire image printed. In the close-ups, the surface on which the image is done is thin shaved cork. However it is difficult to discern from the photos if the cork background is printed or if there is matting over the actual thin shaved cork.
THE ENTIRE IMAGE IS PRINTED, SMOOTH AND NO CORK. IT APPEARS TO JUST BE A PRINT ON STIFF PAPER.
Please add a more clear, in-focus, close-up image of the surface so as to see the texture and clear images of the written label and the foil label affixed to the backside so that it is read-able from the photo images.
