What does this mean?

Thank you for contacting Mearto. This is a large Chinese famille jaune baluster vase with a tiger finial atop the lid. Four raised sheep heads surround the shoulder of the vase. Floral motifs and scenes of birds and peonies combine with geometric patterns ringing the base and neck of the vase.

The piece is hand-painted and dates from the Qing dynasty, probably the late 1900s. There is slight damage, but it is masked by the lid.

Based on sales of similar items at auction, the Fair Market Value of this vase is between $600 and $800.
