Tall Boy Dresser with some peg joins. 30" wide, 20" deep, 46" tall Cherry wood (I was told) Old, worn finish. Some bits of paint. Not sure if there's a signature or logo or brand. All drawers in good shape and functional.
From my parents in Ohio. Told it was an antique. Wooden peg construction.
This is vintage, 20th century, about 1940s - 1960's, 'ranch style' furniture that is done in a cherry wood or cherry wood finish. The dresser has a gallery around 3 sides of the top over 4 graduated drawers with late Deco style handles over stylized sleigh runner front to back stretcher feet. Technically, an antique, by definition in the U.S. is any object 100 years old and older; this is still vintage and not antique. This is unmarked, with no signatures nor manufacturers tag. Given the Ohio origin and style, this is possibly Amish-made furniture especially since it is wooden peg construction. The estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparables. Retail 'asking prices' can be higher and vary.
Hello Nora. I've added two pictures of the drawer corners (front and back edges). No sign of any marks, tags or labels, but I was not able to check the back or bottom of the dresser. Thanks, Joe
