An antique Neoclassical style painted maple or satinwood Carlton House desk
in the manner of Robert Adam, British, early 19th Century
Of rectangular section, with a raised divided superstructure fitted with pigeon holes, prospect door and hinged side cupboards, over a frame fitted with three short drawers and arched apron, raised on tall tapering square-section legs with banded feet. Door fronts and stiles with oval figural panels, the drawer fronts with floral decoration.
