Old wooden statue
This statue is wood and looks incredibly old. The hands are missing. It has been placed on another base and made into a lamp. This came from a VERY wealthy estate. It is 23” from the original base high with the lamp base it is 26” high.
I know that a very very wealthy person owned it.

The presented object appears to be a wooden sculpture with the measurements of 23 including the original base. This statue depicts Madonna with open hair and a wide coat and dress with a flower decoration. This piece reminds me of the iconography of the Madonna of Guadalupe and Central American Spanish Colonial religious art especially Mexican pieces. It was probably made in the late 18th or first half of the 19th century. The face is rubbed down and both arms are broken off. This statue was used for a lampstand and remounted with a bad in the second half of the 20th century.
This piece is in medium condition and there is no serious damage visible in the images provided.
A fair market estimation would be between 150 to 400 USD.
