What does this mean?

A Chinese waterpipe made of Paktong an Alloy. Datewise ca. 1920. Decoration is made in Champlevé, an enamelling technique in which troughs or cells are carved, etched or cast into the surface of a metal object, and filled with enamel. Yours is in good used state. These objects are not rare and sold also in auction houses. I would expect a Chinese art collector to be charmed by the way it is made and pay for it.
