This appears to be a chinese handknotted rug of the mid 20th century, depicting a court lady and her servant looking out of a pavillion´s window .The pavillon is surrounded by foliage, flowers and rocks. The estimate is based on similar rugs sold at auction. The rug in your possession is of good quality and the colours are brilliant and not faded. A beautiful piece. As always "asking prices" in the trade can be higher and vary.
