The presented object appears to be a colored plaster bas relief with the measurements of 27 x 50 cm. The relief depicts the moment the Troyan prince Hector accompanied by a warrior saying goodbye to his wife Andromache and son Astyanax. This plaque was made by the manufacturer "P. Ipsens Enke" which was founded by Peter Ipsen in Kopenhagen 1843. This piece with model number 436 was made in the late 19th century.
Works by this artist were recently offered and sold on the international auction market.
This piece is in medium condition and there are damages visible in the images provided.
