Thank you for submitting your item for appraisal. This appears to be a Republic period covered porcelain ginger jar, decorated with court ladies and young children around a table and a decorative calligraphy at the backside. Such ginger jars were made in huge numbers in China in the early 20th century and are usually a very slow seller. The estimate is based on current auction results for pieces actually sold.
