This is a naif style portrait of a young girl playing with a cat. It measures 50 x 60 inches. It is signed on center-right "Wierzbicka" and dated "1935, Roma" The condition is very good and is housed in a beautiful carved wooden frame.

Unfortunately, after searching this artist, I am sorry to say that I was unable to find any similar artist's signature in our records. It seems to me that the painting that you own has been executed by an obscure artist.

Therefore, this is reflected in the estimate in red that appears above. The subject work’s size and composition were also taken into consideration when determining these figures.
