This is a beautiful pair of wall sconces with glass flower rosettes. They are from an estate sale and work perfectly. I do not know the maker.
Sconcces measure 15 inches tall by 6.5 inches wide
Hi Rhonda,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
These are wonderful! I've looked for comparables and are not finding any close enough to make an attribution but I feel pretty confident they are French, late 19th Century.
Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:
A pair of Rococo Revival style cast bronze figural sconces
Probably Continental, French, late 19th Century
Each in the form of a winged bare-breasted female holding a single candle aloft (fitted with a frosted foliate form glass shade), on an asymmetrical deeply cast wall mount with C-scrolls and acanthus. Purportedly unmarked.
15 inches tall, 6-1/2 inches wide
CONDITION: This pair of sconces appears to be in good condition.
PROVENANCE: Acquired at an estate sale
$ 2,000-3,000 for the pair*

You as well! :)
Hi Delia:
I thought they were so strong, so beautiful with the transparency of the rosettes. LOL. I thought they were angels. I am going to scour them for a mark. Thanks, Season's Greetings!
