Dear Gard ,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry. So that I may best assist you, can you please upload a few better and close images of the painted or printed scenes on the vases.
With kind regards,
Georg
Dear Gard,
Thank you for the additional images and your patience. The presented object is a pair of vases with the measurements of 10/11 inches high. 6/7 inches wide. The vases have a blue glaze and on the front of each vase is a porcelain painted scene. The hallmark is a hint that this vase was made in Vienna probably by the producer Ernst Wahliss in the late 19th century. It is hard to decide if the decor is a print or handpainted. Many porcelain pieces of Ernst Wahliss are handpainted so we assume that these pieces are handpainted.
This piece is in good condition and there are no serious damages visible.
An estimation would be between 300 to 600 USD.
This estimation is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparables. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and vary.
With best regards,
Georg
