The figure is seated in padmasana(lotus position) atop a stylized, elevated multi-tiered lotus-petal base, executing the Bhumisparsha mudra (earth-witness gesture). Material & Composition: The statue is composed of a heavy metal alloy consistent with Panchaloha (Panchadhatu), traditionally incorporating copper/bronze, zinc, iron, and trace precious metals (gold/silver). The exterior displays a deep, naturally aged dark patina with visible remnants of historical gilding or lacquer finish beneath centuries of wear. Casting Method & Base: The figure has been executed using the traditional lost-wax (cire perdue) casting technique. The open, unsealed hollow base reveals highly characteristic, rough inner-cavity texture, natural green and white oxidation (cuprite/malachite patination), and visible remnants of the original dark, earthy clay core material.
