What does this mean?

This is a 20th century, framed image of people viewing art in a gallery or museum setting by the Singapore-born, Canadian artist, John Lim (b. 1932). Lim was known for painting, printmaking, sculpture and illustration as well as being a children's book author. As a general rule of thumb paintings would not be framed under glass (except for watercolors and pastels. From the images, this appears to be a serigraph or print. This should either be inspected in person or provide more clear, in-focus extreme close-ups of the surface to show the texture as previously requested. The estimate is based on this being a print and utilizes actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparables. Retail 'asking prices' can be higher and vary.
