2 x 3.2 Persian Qum - Hand-knotted in the city of Qum, Iran. Silk warp and weft and a silk pile. Traditional center medallion and corner spandrels in deep navy with deep red field. Family owned and purchased in Iran.
Belonged to my mother, and has been kept in our house in the master bedroom.

This is a beautiful Qum prayer mat, seemingly in good condition; the Persian/oriental rug market is a little soft and there are quite a few examples regularly on the market that keeps the fair-market value fairly low.
