Petrified wood is a somewhat imprecise category - getting a good price is extremely contingent getting the right buyer at the right time who is willing to pay the price. I've not seen another grouping of such size offered at auction (the values Mearto provides are fair-market based on auction values) previously. If these were finished (meaning the bases were plane-finished and these were ready to go as table bases, the going rate is about $250 per section AT AUCTION but these don't look as though they are in that shape yet. I'm valuing this at $150-200 per piece, rounded to the nearest auction increment, to be $1,200-1,800 for the group
