Pirates of the Caribbean front end of ride vehicle
This is an actual front piece of a ride vehicle that was cut up to be destroyed as new boats were being made to replace these heavy old ones . Only a few of the old boats were saved to make this front section available for auction but unsure if they ever were available. This has the original colored paint under the newer wood grain hand painted that they switched to awhile back. I have made my own seat out of this having bolted on some casters as it’s very heavy. but that part can be removed (see photos) to reveal the original grit flooring, this item is made of fiberglass and has the Safty plaques and grab bar still. Measure around 7’x3 ‘

Just last weekend, Van Eaton Galleries got $27,500 for a Space Mountain ride car (https://www.liveauctioneers.com/item/185330245_a-walt-disney-world-space-mountain-ride-vehicle); in May of 2024, they got $23,000 for another Space Mountain car (https://www.liveauctioneers.com/item/175972704_a-space-mountain-ride-vehicle).
In 2023, they got $210,000 for a Peter Pan Flight ship (https://www.liveauctioneers.com/item/156637467_a-peter-pan-s-flight-original-attraction-vehicle). There are a number of other results for Disneyland rides at this link (https://www.liveauctioneers.com/search/?keyword=disneyland%20%20ride&sort=-hammerPrice&status=archive).
Its important to note that all of these results were for things that had estimates considerably lower than the final price. Additionally, most are for COMPLETE ride cars and none are for Pirates of the Caribbean, which I think most would agree is one of Disneyland's most popular rides.
The closest comparable I could find is here (https://www.liveauctioneers.com/item/80421619_back-end-of-the-many-adventures-of-winnie-the-pooh), $9,000 realized in 2020 for part of the Winnie-the-Pooh ride vehicle; it's worth noting the estimate on that was just $1,000-2,000.
All things considered, an appropriate estimate for this would be $1,500-2,500 and I would not be at all surprised if it exceeded that significantly if sold by an auctioneer with history and experience selling Disneyland artifacts.
Because this is a fragment, and you've updated it with (removable) modern seating, that will affect its value.
