A Regency style caned mahogany "Plantation" armchair
English or British Colonies, early 20th Century
The squared caned back and seat with shaped horizontal arms over hinged footrests of corresponding shape, raised on four turned and tapering legs
overall height 39 inches; seat height 18 inches; width across arms 27 inches
PROVENANCE: acquired about 2000 from a vintage furniture store
CONDITION: client purports this to be in good condition with no damage to caning
