Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
The item appraised is a mid-century walnut and vinyl Plycraft chair. Plycraft was a prolific mid-century design and production firm, who was known to "knock-off" other designers, such as the famous Eames chair. Their items were not produced in leather and seem to be a bit more of an "affordable" version of furniture of the day. The current auction prices reflect this lesser brand sentiment, with the chairs often, and on average, selling under $500. This example is a bit simple and so I have put the estimate on the lower end.
Kind regards,
Corey
