Dear Domagoj,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry and for your patience.
Considering these images, this is:
A statue Kissi (Pomdo kissi figure) from Africa, most Western Africa (Liberia, Guinea), 18th or 19th century. The figure is crouching on its buttocks and has drawn up its knees. The upper arms are laid out at the sides, the forearms converge in front of the torso, so that the fingertips meet. The hair is gathered in five bangs, one of which is in the middle at the back of the head. These figures were and are still buried in the ground to wish for a good harvest, but also as a fertility idol for house and cattle.
The Kissi people call them pomdo (pombo), which mean "the deceased".
Good condition.
Pretty clear
Dear Sir, is this some sort of fraud or something ? I uploaded pretty clear 3 images of my statue and You inform me after 48 hours that you cant see nothing ?
Is there any person to who I can make complaint ?
