Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
It is a cute antique doll. Such antique toys are being offered at auction on a regular basis. The doll is made of bisque and the legs are fixed by wire. The hair is modelled and the face and bow painted. The doll is probably German from the early 1900s. From the photos the dolls condition appears to have been worn, there is some paint of the hair that has been worn off, and the bisque appears to be slightly dirty. This may come off but it may also be permanent. This type of doll is what you would call a large doll house doll. These kinds of dolls value have deteriorated within the last few decades.
The estimate provided is for a well-advertised specialised online toys auction, where I believe the doll has the best chance of realising its fullest potential. However, there is no measurement for the sentimental value you might attach to the sweet doll. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and vary.
Please let me know if you have any additional questions. I’m happy to help.
