Porcelain (looks German) beautiful fine porcelain, there are faded orange brown marks on the base (see photo) measures approx 8cm high x 13cm long x 6.5cm wide, detailing is beautiful red nail polish on the nails of each hand, lots of gold gilding and a little rose on the front of the bra strap that goes across her body.
I do not know where she comes from, this is what I would like to know, I suspect that she is made in Germany, if not Europe due to the quality of the porcelain and fine details
Thank you for submitting your item for appraisal and the high resolution photos. The figurine in your possession was made in Japan in the mid 1950s for export to the US. There is a very faint print at the underside "MADE IN JAPAN", "JAP" is hardly visible. European manufacturers used basically the same slip casting technique, but for the most part you won´t see openings at the base. The porcelain lace trim was copied from Thuringian manufacturers. The gloss gilding and hand painting is very detailed. The estimate is based on similar items actually sold at auction. A serious collector might be willing to pay more than the high estimate.
