Portrait of Richard by Lillian Fisk
Is is signed by the artist dated Paris '27. It is 24" x 18" I have letters from "Richard" to Lillian also.
From someone who owned it I think? I have letters from the person in the painting to Lillian.

Thank you for submitting your item for appraisal. This appears to be a portrait study painted by Lillian (Fisk) Thompson ( born 1884 Morrisville, Lamoille County Vermont died 1970) while she was living in Paris. In 1918 she went to Japan to study art and where she married Nathaniel Harrison, she got divorced in February 1926 in Paris. There is no information available on the person portrayed. Although Lillian Fisk led a very interesting life and the quality of her artworks appear to be excellent none of her paintings have been offered or sold at auction. The estimate is based on similar paintings by lesser known artists sold at auction.
