With framing the measurements are 22.4”x25.8” There is a lot of oxidation to the actual picture itself. The face is ate through, but because of the cardboard backing, added later the portrait hasn’t preserved well.
I know that these are pictures of ancestors of a 93 year old woman who had them passed down from her great, great, great grand parents who had the actual pictures before that. The framing was put on before she was given them. She received them in 1945.
Dear Tereshia,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
The presented object appears to be a drawing or print on paper with the measurements of 22.4” x 25.8”. The artwork depicts a portrait of a woman and is not signed. The color loss is a hint that this is a lithograph made in the late 19th century.
This piece is in bad condition and there are serious damages visible in the images provided.
A fair market estimation would be between 10 to 30 USD.
This estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparable items. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and may vary.
With kind regards,
