Portrait is 7 inches by 5 inches, oval in shape. Painted on porcelain. I believe it is signed Wagner. Sticker in french on the back reads "Ov. 8 Muse de Poete", stamped KPM on the back.
When my Grandpa (born 1911) moved into assisted living, this was one of the things we found cleaning out his house. I suspect it belonged to his wife's family. Her father was a prominent doctor in Ohio in mid to late 1800s. They had a heap of antiques.
