Found a powder horn in my wife's late uncle's house. It has various drawings carved into it, as well as an enscription that reads: "DANIEL X ELA X HIS X POWDER X HORN X MADE X AT X THE X PEEKS X KILLS X MAY X 1777 ~~~~~ A X B" There is a round area near the horn part where it was damaged, and the story in the family is that it was hit by a musket ball.

About 13" long and 3" in diameter at the wide end.
