What does this mean?

Hello Camilla,

This object appears to be a frog figure. Unfortunately, I cannot associate a specific Pre Columbian culture to this object due to lack of attributes. However, to the Mayan culture, frogs and toads were associated with rain and believed to be the Chac's (rain god) musicians (based on the frog's croaking). The rain would bring sustenance in the crops and fertility to women.

Again, dating the item would require in-person examination. The estimate provided is based on recent auction estimates and results of similar figures in similar dimensions.
