Statue standing approximately 6" tall
Additional piece from my Dad's collection...
Dear Camilla,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry and my sincere apologies for the delay
The presented object appears to be a Pre-Columbian figurine made out of clay with a height of 6 inches. The figurine depicts a standing man with a belt, earrings, and around headdress. This piece reminds of Middle American figurines of several cultures during the Mayan period.
This piece is in good condition and there is no serious damage visible in the images provided.
A fair market estimation would be between 100 to 300 USD.
This estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparable items. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and may vary.
With kind regards,
Georg
