The presented object appears to be a pre-Columbian ceramic vessel made out of painted clay with a height of 12 inches. The vessel has a geometrical decoration and two mountings on the shoulder and the cap depicts the face of a human. This piece is not easy to classify and the multi-colored decor and the stylistic of the face could speak for an origin in Northern Mexico, Paquime/Casas Grandes, ca. 1150 to 1450 CE.
This piece is in good condition and there is no serious damage visible in the images provided.
A fair market estimation would be between 250 to 500 USD.
This estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparable items. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and may vary.
