Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry, and I apologize for the delay. This is a very special and rare piece. The bat motif is unique and in a distinctive South American style. It is in excellent condition, and the pin on the back could be removed relatively easily by a competent jeweler. The small amounts of pitting in the gold are from the original casting process, and it still retains its polish. The loop on the back of the piece was likely used to wear the piece as a necklace originally. Given the condition of this piece, and completed auctions of similar items, a fair market estimation is 700-750 dollars. Please reach out with any questions.
