Pre-Columbian Jade Necklace with Figures
I believe it is jade stone necklace with stone figures. Purchased in late 80s early 90s in Guatemala by my grandmother who collected antiques and unique pieces. The main figure appears to be a female (2 3/4") and the small might be a male (1 1/2"). There are 46 beads .
My Grandma who traveled to Belize in late 80s and 90s to do missionary work. She purchased it in Guatemala area. She was a collector of antiques and unique items.

The presented object appears to be a necklace with a probable pre-Columbian pedant or idol. The idol was made out of a greenish jade or jadeite stone depicts a male and is comparable with idols of the Mayan period. The surface shows traces of rubbing off and wear a long time which speaks for an authentic piece. The pearls of the necklace itself could be also a modern addition.
This piece is in good condition and there is no serious damage visible in the images provided.
A fair market estimation would be between 100 to 250 USD.
This estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparable items. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and may vary.
