Queen Anne Chairs (and table)
6 Chairs, clawfoot. Have been in my family for over 100 years... probably longer. One chair has arms, the others don't. In good condition, needle pointed maroon seats. An appraisal from 1975 says "Set Six Queen Anne San Domingo Mahogany Dining Chairs". I also have a mahogany dining table with claw feet - the appraisal says "circa 1850". I want to first get a value on the chairs - the table needs a little work with the leaf extension mechanism. It's 4.5 feet round, with 3 extensions. If the chairs are "sellable", then I'll submit the table for value. Thank you.
I inherited it in 1981 - my Grandparents were born in 1900. It was always in their house and I believe inherited from her parents. I know she needle pointed the seats.

Thank you for submitting your item for appraisal. This appears to be a set of six reproduction Queen Anne style chairs, with ball claw feet and volutes on the armrest of the carver Chair. Production date first quarter 20th century or later. The needlepoint seats do not increase the value unfortunately ( the table appears to be mid 19th century.) The estimate is based on similar sets offered or sold in well advertised auctions. There is no measurement for the sentimental value you might attach to the item.
