The plate is 8-1/2" square and height is 1-1/2". It has a wave sculpture around the plate with gold tone . It has a rim around the bottom that sits the plate up.
I am 65 years old, this item has been passed down to me from my parents. My paternal grandparents were born and raised in England (their last name was Kent) this was their plate. They came to America on a ship and had my father in New York. That is all I really know about the plate.
