The artist must have been very productive in the 1980s, various still life prints by the same artist are available today, usually in very high edition numbers. Apparently no biographical data are available. The decorative print in your possession was most likely sold in a department store, purely for home decor. The estimate is based on similar prints by the artist actually sold. "Asking prices" in the trade are usually higher and can vary. There is no measurement for the sentimental value you might attach to the item
