Ray Fisher Lighting started in business in New York City in 1965, illuminating spaces with a variety of forms, from sleek modern fixtures to more traditional pieces.
Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:
A vintage Midcentury Modern lucite box lamp
made by Ray Fisher, circa 1950-70
Of square form, the gray lucite body incise-carved with abstract designs, inscribed RAY FISHER near the bottom of the base.
12 inches tall, 6 inches wide, 6 inches deep
CONDITION: This lamp appears to be working and in good cosmetic condition.

Hi Jonathan,
Apologies for not getting back to you sooner on this; in the end, we had to ask a few people. While colleagues could tell me that Ray Fisher began making lighting in 1965, no-one knows when it ceased production. As a single lamp, this is a bit of a novelty and fun for collectors of vintage lighting.
